CDO Group partnered with Starbucks on a high-stakes, large-scale accessibility initiative—delivering renovations to thousands of U.S. stores to elevate inclusivity under Starbucks’s new Inclusive Spaces Framework. This work included implementing accessible design features like lowered, overhanging handoff counters that improve reach and communication, power-operated entry doors, optimized acoustics and lighting, and upgraded POS systems to better serve customers with varying needs. Through this national retrofit rollout, CDO Group enabled Starbucks to respond efficiently and consistently to ADA challenges, ensuring each location reflects the brand’s commitment to thoughtful, inclusive design and strengthens the guest experience across its extensive footprint
